Many thanks go to Cindi & Charles Webb and staff at the Quik Snak for a great lunch and meeting place for our November and December meetings.

Its been a nice 2011 season of vintage racing on some great short tracks in the two Carolinas. With the influx of some new members along with some new cars added to the mix of some long-time faithful members it was always a question of how will everybody finish.
A couple member-racers had some health issues this year and we hope they will be back strong with us next year. Just to show how much passion these guys and ladies have toward their vintage racing, there have been a few incidents on the track this year. Those cars have been repaired and those drivers look forward to trying to chase those trophies again in 2012.
Thanks go to the photographers that have covered our events again this year. We would have lost a little bit of history every week without those pictures and videos.
We salute those fans in the grandstands, the adults and kids that come down during the on-track meet and greet before the races for a interest in keeping our type of vintage stock car racing alive.
Many thanks go to Kerry and Wink Bodenhamer along with a great staff that make up the UARA-Stars late-model racing circuit of which we were glad to be a small part in helping make for a successful season for both.
If anyone has an interest in advertising with our club or just one particular car or race date give our club president a call.
As our schedule progresses for next year we'll post it here. Thanks to all that has supported our efforts in 2011.

Hutch Holiday leads the field as they take the green flag for their 20 lap Tri-County Motor Speedway race. ....Who says Money buys speed?

Here, Danny Toney is strapping in to his car before he sets out at Dillon Motor Speedway. He looks like he is ready to shoot a scene for Days Of Thunder.

Danny Toney debuted his new '55 Chevy that he picked up in Alabama, and ran it to a 3rd place finish. He thanked his hard working crew for getting him in the race with a dead car at the end of practice.

The purpose of this club is to show fans the roots of modern day racing; recognize the cars, drivers, and crews of early racing; and to fellowship with fans and fellow racers. The main goal of the members is not to win or lose, but to have safe, clean fun! We really do run these old stockcars hard and have fun participating. You usually can catch us on a Friday or Saturday night on short tracks in the Carolinas. Most of our members live in the piedmont of the two Carolinas surrounding Charlotte, NC.

Check out our Schedule Page for a list of our upcoming races and car shows so you can get an up-close look of our cars.

For those interested in racing with us, check out the
2010 Rules Page to read up on our requirements.

Be sure to take a look at our Member's Rides page to see some good old vintage stockcars.

To get all of the latest results from the races and pictures from car shows, visit our Events page. We've added a Previous Years' Events page to archive our results and events of history.

The CVSC took part at the Jonesville, SC Town Festival car show on Sat. Sept. 18th, 2010.  Here our cars are parked among some interesting restored trucks. What a great day! This years date is Sept. 24th, before the Greenville race.
